Anita Saville

(Currently in the second year of studying for an MA in Educational Leadership and Management.)


Anita is a primary school Headteacher in Raynes Park with 28 years teaching experience in inner London and Hampshire schools. She has been the Headteacher in two London Schools and prior to that was an Advanced Skills Teacher in Westminster supporting schools and teachers with Literacy teaching and Early Years provision. She has taught across the whole primary age phase from Nursery to Year 6 and is passionate about education, particularly in ensuring the best provision for children with additional needs- this includes both their learning and well-being needs.

As a mum to a son with an EHCP, she understands the EHCP process and has advocated for and worked with parents to secure the best possible outcomes for their children. She has worked closely with pupils, parents and staff and liased with a number of professional and agencies to ensure children receive the additional support they need. She has a good knowledge of Dyspraxia, Sensory processing and Dyslexia and the strategies to support pupils with these needs in the classroom.

Anita strongly believes that every child has the potential to achieve and it is only by parents, schools, health and other agencies working collaboratively that children will succeed.
