Education Consultancy

"Victoria gave us a detailed summary report with specific actions and expectations for our meeting with the school which was invaluable and allowed us to make the most of the available support which I am convinced would not have been forthcoming if we hadn't had her assistance. She has been indispensable through this whole process and whilst we have a long road to go with helping Rory learn in a different way to other children we cannot recommend her services and support more highly. Rory's confidence is now back and he is thriving again at school. She has an amazing natural affinity with children and we will continue to rely on her bond with Rory and her invaluable knowledge throughout the rest of his education." - Sam & Gary (Parents)

“Victoria's coaching session was really helpful because I used all the strategies at school and they have helped me in all my subjects to find the answers quickly. Now I always have a go!” - Rory, 8 (Student)

"Victoria has been fantastic in helping us with an application for an ECHP for our son. During the initial application stage Victoria undertook the task of reading all of the medical reports and other documentation from our son’s nursery and then completing the application form on behalf of our nursery and us, the parents. She did this in such a thorough manner to ensure that all of his care needs identified from the plethora of medical reports were included and highlighted, resulting in a very detailed EHCP application. Without this level of support from Victoria I am almost certain that as two very busy parents, working fulltime we would still be struggling to complete the forms now. Victoria is highly personable and takes the time and trouble to really understand the difficulties and needs of the child in a professional and sympathetic manner." - Raj

"Victoria made the process of finding a school that suits my son's needs incredibly easy. She thoroughly researches both the needs of the child and the opportunities offered by the school. She has extensive experience and contacts and her advice is invaluable. She manages to make a daunting and complicated search pleasant and painless. Can't recommend her services enough." - Angelica

"My son, who is dyslexic, is about to move to secondary school and I was trying to determine what outside support he would require and who could provide that support. After speaking to Victoria and discussing our needs and worries together with the year 7 & 8 Maths and English curriculum, she suggested that we go for a tutor who has worked with Woodlands Consultancy who can provide subject and study skills support as well as liaise with my son's secondary school. I was reassured and delighted that we have found someone to support my son prior to starting secondary school. Thank you Victoria for your advice and support." - Caroline

"Victoria, I am thrilled to have you on board to hold my hand through this. Finally someone on my side!" - Nikki

"Victoria was commissioned to help me find a suitable specialist school for my son. She has been fantastic at getting answers and a good sounding board when I was stuck! It has been a big advantage to have someone independent who can make those crucial calls. She has also helped sign post me to specialists to further support my case. My journey is not over but I am in a stronger position having sought guidance from the Woodlands Education." - Zoe in Epsom

Dyslexic Assessor and SpLD specialist

“Carolyn Green is very knowledgeable about learning difficulties and how these might be expressed in different situations. Carolyn helped me to identify the key issues through perceptive questioning. Carolyn was excellent at supporting me in understanding the Dyslexic assessment follow up report and how this might be interpreted into action. She was able to support me in identifying my daughter's positive abilities, responses and most importantly, taking character into consideration to suggest practical ways forward. Carolyn's caring, kind 'whole child' approach is crucial to successful, precise and individual intervention.” - Jean

Youth Coaching

"My daughter felt extremely comfortable with Victoria and looked forward to her weekly sessions. Victoria has helped her to navigate a period of transition with great success. Most of all she left her feeling empowered and confident which is wonderful. She has been a huge support, not just to my child, but to us all. We would not hesitate to recommend her services." - Rebecca

"Our daughter is in Year 6 and has been struggling with spellings for a while. Victoria arranged a screening with Carolyn Green who was fabulous and put Sophie at ease straight away. From the screening results Victoria recommended weekly interventions for Sophie to give her some extra help. Sophie has had weekly tuition with Michelle Van Wyk since September 2019. Michelle is great with Sophie and manages to make spellings really fun for her! Sophie actually enjoys doing the extra tasks that Michelle sets her each week. Even after just 6 weeks we have noticed her confidence, attitude and ability improve. We would highly recommend both Woodlands Educational Consultancy and Michelle." - Janet and Dave (Parents)

"I have been able to aim higher and not settle for second best. I have confidence to go for my goals and am motivated to achieve them.” - Will, 18
