Yoga is a wellbeing practise rooted in focusing our mind and body on the present moment.

By combining movement and the breath, we can ignite our parasympathetic nervous system to release tension from the physical body and mind to create a feeling of wellbeing and calm.

Using traditional breathing exercises (Pranayama) we stimulate our own rest and repair nervous system, release our anxieties, fears, and bring the body and mind to balance.

Our sessions will deliver a tailored Yoga practise, suitable for all levels; (don’t worry you do not need to be able to touch your toes!) incorporating the original roots of yoga and making sure you can adapt your practise into your busy modern day life.

Using essential oils, props, hands on adjustment and guided breathing we will lead you to an inner sense of safety, and self-compassion which will allow the body to heal from issues.

You will leave the session with a sense of balance and inner strength.

Physical benefits of yoga include:

  • Improved concentration

  • Reduced Anxiety

  • Improved Sleep Cycles

  • Depression relief

  • Flexibility

  • Appetite

  • Digestion

  • Strength

Want a sneak peak of how we find relaxation? Take a deep breath in for the slow count of 10, hold your breath for the count of 5, dropping the shoulders as you hold the breath, then exhale for a slow count of 10, a few rounds of this gives you an insight into the power the breath can have to create a relaxed zen feeling.

I look forward to meeting you on the mat and practising with you.
